After many months of FOMO over allll of the amazing Museum of Ice Cream posts that kept popping up in my Instagram feed, I finally managed to score some tickets and get the chance to see it in person with my crazy clan (and some friends who were brave enough to tag along)! Tickets had been sold out for a while due to their massive popularity, but a friend suggested that I sign up for their newsletter so I’d be updated when/if they did another release. As you can see…they did! I put a reminder on my calendar and made sure to log on the minute they were available in order to get in the queue. Maybe I’m a super nerd, but that process was such a rush! Ha! I bought 4 tickets, and since kids 2 and under are free, we invited our friends to tag along.
My friend runs the Instagram account ‘Dressed to Match‘ (super cute btw, go check it out!), and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to match the twins to the venue. Striped pink boy shirts are apparently hard to come by, so I ended up settling with a pink shirt from Old Navy and found THE PERFECT striped dress for Brylie over at the adorable Hugo Loves Tiki. Also, Target now has the cutest line of Museum of Ice Cream apparel and accessories for older kids. Check it out here.
The installations were perfection (seriously, so creative!), there were sweets to enjoy in every room, and overall I would definitely say it lived up to the hype. In true toddler fashion, Braxton started off in love and then quickly began melting down (no pun intended!) but Brylie was in absolute heaven. It might have been a lot of stimulation for 2 year olds but I still think it was 100% worth it and am so glad we went. Also, the sprinkle pool at the end is freaking legit and I seriously want to make one of our own. Spoiler alert – they aren’t real sprinkles, so no need to worry about all the stickiness. Also, can anyone guess which one of the twins has the bigger sweet tooth 😝
